FAQs

It’s totally understandable if you have questions about our products or company. We would have a lot of questions if we were searching for the perfect healthy, all-natural treat for our dogs too. We’ve compiled a list of some questions that we frequently receive but if your question is not answered in the list below, we invite you to reach out to us. We are happy to help.

Are your treats safe for puppies?

Absolutely. The Healthy Companion Company’s treats are safe for dogs of all ages.

How do I need to store my dog treats?

We suggest you keep the treat bag in the refrigerator after opening it. Since there are no added hormones or preservatives in our treats, they will stay fresh longer if they are kept sealed and chilled.

What ingredients are in your dog treats?

In an effort to ensure our customers that our treats are as healthy as possible, we use just the right ingredients in each type, eliminating any nasty surprises. Each treat contains the perfect combination of protein, fat, vitamins, and minerals, keeping your dog healthy and happy. Our treats are grain-free and all-natural, so you don’t have to worry about feeding your furry companion anything harmful.

What flavors are your treats available in?

We currently offer dehydrated chicken or duck feet, rabbit. and a turkey/beef/chicken combination option. If you’re not sure which kind to get, give us a call and we will help you figure out what is best for your dog.

Is the chicken you use in your treats sourced from within the states??

Yes. Our treats are completely sourced and manufactured with products from U.S. farmers.

What does The Healthy Companion Company do as a part of the community?

Because we truly care about the health and well-being of all dogs, not just our own, we give three percent of every purchase to support the homeless animal cause.
